Mascus, the Pan European on-line marketplace for used equipment and transportation vehicles opens another office, this time in Ukraine. The Ukrainian office marks another local achievement for the marketplace, which already has offices for 22 countries and sales all over Europe. From the beginning of 2008, Mascus has opened altogether seven offices in Europe, in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, in Lithuania and the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg. "Mascus is aiming to become the first truly Pan European electronic marketplace for used machinery and used trucks and we offer sellers and buyers of used transport vehicles, construction, agriculture, forest and groundscare machines, and material handling equipment the opportunity to sell their equipment locally and internationally. We are the only marketplace that has this many local offices across Europe." says Mascus' Director Fredrik Larsson.
New Mascus office in cooperation with Inform Media Group
The new Mascus office in Ukraine is opened in cooperation with the media house Inform Media Group. Inform Media Group already collaborates with Mascus on the Hungarian and Romanian market. Ukraine is the third country that the companies have signed a licence agreement for. "We have been very pleased with the opportunity to offer Mascus services in Hungary and Romania, where Mascus' concept applies very successfully. The success Mascus had in Hungary and Romania has been a major reason for us, to decide to add Mascus Ukraine in our products portfolio." says Josef Kogler, Managing Director of Inform Media Group.
New opportunities for buyers and sellers of used equipment
Mascus office in Ukraine will start working from the beginning of September. So far, Mascus has performed marketing and customer support from its Headquarter in Finland but from now on, Ukrainian dealers will have even better possibilities to sell their used equipment and trucks on the local market or make use of Mascus' online inventory tools. "Every one benefits from another local Mascus office." adds Tomasz Odrobinski, responsible for Mascus' marketing and internationalization. In accordance to the new partnership, Inform Media Group will be able to use Mascus trademark and will be responsible for marketing its services on the Ukrainian market.
